Colin Etches is a writer and musician and the mind behind Sounds Proper Comedy and hosts its weekly showcase event. He is also a stand up comic who in the short time he has been performing has already played with several household names. His jokes range from dyspraxia to sex and everything in between and maybe even beyond.
Jaleelah Galbraith is a Bristol UK based stand up that creates shows which are honest, endearing and warm that ask the big questions about life but have no answers because she gets caught up on the little things. Jaleelah has taken two full length stand up shows to the Edinburgh Fringe for full runs (It is a Truth in 2018 and Age Fright in 2019). She will be performing in a mixed bill of comedy for this years online Ed Fringe ‘Absolutely Themeless’. Feminist Fringe: ‘Jal owns the stage with the confidence of a veteran performer and the enthusiasm of a young comedian.’ *** Fringe Review: ‘true comedy gold’ ** Broadway Baby ‘Galbraith offers consistent witty and laugh-out-loud moments... She’s clearly a skilled storyteller’ **
Navin Noronha: A writer-comedian who also dabbles in podcasting and improv. Born and raised in suburban Mumbai, he prides himself on being a gay liberal who would like the world to be a slightly better place. His comedy is a fine mix of sarcasm mixed with real experiences from his past, making it an addictive kind of humor (you are constantly asking for one more story). He believes that in this day and age, words can do a lot of good, but can also cause a lot of damage, and is on a mission to curb the latter. He has performed at venues all over the country, and even toured Australia in Feb 2020. He also writes for publications like Vice India, Quint, Hindustan Times and The Huffington Post. Solo shows - The Good Child, Still A(live).
Carly Blair is a not-your-typical-American American who's been trying to shove her square peg-shaped self into Amsterdam's round hole with admirable, or perhaps foolish, persistence for the last ten or so years. When she's not embarrassing her parents and menagerie of ex-lovers with her comedy, she works as a freelance writer and exercises frenetically so as to minimize the chance of having a double chin in her gig photos.
Abbas Momin is a freelance humour writer, which means he has no self respect and lives below the poverty line. He tried his hand at becoming a doctor (which is often believed to be the reason behind the dwindling fortunes of the medical fraternity) but was left with a lot of depression and low self-esteem, which made him realise he’s perfect to be a stand-up comedian. He has performed at renowned venues like The Canvas Laugh Club, Blue Frog and NCPA in Mumbai, and has been a part of the line up at the Weirdass Pajama Festival and the Masala Mayhem Comedy Festival in Hyderabad. He currently lives in Mumbai with his two laptops.
Kajol Srinivasan has been doing comedy for 5 years now. She is an alumna of the first ever artists’ residency organized by Akshara and the US consulate on women's empowerment. Kajol has performed widely at venues like IIT Bombay, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, BITS Pilani, Canvas Laugh Club and others. She does curated and corporate shows along with running her one-person company providing graphic design.
21 Aug
Iris Beck A normalish lady with with a inappropriate sense of humour. She is the friend you need to explain to new people, even children refer to her as naughty Iris! She is good at getting herself in daft situations or instigating shenanigans.
Kendra Borgen: Born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra started playing saxophone at age 8 inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian hi-way in 1999 to study music in Oregon, she finally left the US once and for all in 2004.In search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree) she bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam never to look back.Since it turns out you cannot pay rent in exposure and beer tokens she started guiding people around the city in 2010, and now performs comedy by night.

She is also a part of the award winning podcast and variety show, The Beauty and the Beast Show, with comedy partner, Mark Hills. You can catch her voicing the role of Mystica Rabbit in the animated series, “Waterside Wrestling” on Amazon Prime.
Vikramjit Singh who graduated as an Engineer, still considers it one of his life's "Oops" moments, and after that, his life is a personification of "˜joke.' He loves calling his comedy rib-tickling, and he likes the audience with a strong stomach to handle his jokes. He talks about Punjabi folks and how their life is one crazy ride. His jokes are mostly based on his personal life experiences
Andy Reghu - A writer, a professor and a spiritual leader - Andy Reghu wears multiple hats. He is from Kurla so he automatically has a criminal past. His hobbies include substance abuse and some more substance abuse. He also claims to be a TV writer and producer and he is wondering why the hell are you reading this.
