Presenting this very essential but often neglected piece of our daily lives, a workshop on "Surviving to Thriving: Navigating Stress and Regulating the Nervous System." In today's world, the term "nervous system dysregulation" has become a buzzword, often thrown around in discussions about mental health and well-being.
But what does it really mean?
Nervous system dysregulation refers to an imbalance in the autonomic nervous system, which can manifest as chronic stress, anxiety, or difficulty in managing emotions. Essentially, it's when our body's natural mechanisms for handling stress become overwhelmed or out of sync.
Overview: In this workshop, we'll delve deeper into the intricacies of the nervous system and explore practical strategies to regulate it effectively. Our goal is to shift from merely surviving amidst life's challenges to truly thriving, even during challenging times.

- Understand the survival responses (fight, flight, freeze, fawn) and parasympathetic responses.
